Before Booking
First time waxing?
Make sure you have NOT SHAVED FOR UP TO 2 WEEKS MINIMUM from day of appointment. If hair is to short you will not get waxed and retainer will be used to full-fill appointment.
First time facial client?
Make sure you notate any medication you are on especial any oral or topical acne medication. Notate any allergies, sensitives or skin conditions.
Chemical Peels & Advance Treatments are not available without a skin consultation & prep.
What are the benefits of waxing?
Waxing can help minimize ingrown, irritation and discoloration. When done consistently hair becomes spares and fine.
How long should my hair be to wax?
Hair should be about the size of a cooked grain of rice. About 10-14 days from your last shave also works well.
Do I have to exfoliate?
YES! It is important to exfoliate 2-3 time per week. We recommended our raspberry refining scrub from the intimate & face area.
How long does waxing keep me hair free?
Waxing can keep your skin hair free for up to 2-6weeks; however results can vary with each person due to different hair types and how frequently you wax.
You should return for your wax every 4 to 6 weeks, no matter the hair growth you need to stay in a consistent waxing cycle to see maximum results.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Skin By Mari offers physical & e-gift cards. Physical gift card can be bought in person at Skin By Mari. E-gift cards can be purchased on our website under our "shop" tab. Both can be used to purchase skin care & services.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns! You can return unopened items in the original packaging within 7 days of your purchase with receipt or proof of purchase. If 7days or more have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a refund or an exchange.
